Nika Jurich

Biography

Nika Jurich received their early training at the Ballet San Jose School and with Xavier Ferla, going on to graduate from the Harid Conservatory in 2015. They spent two years in the Professional Division of the Pacific Northwest Ballet, then graduated from the Alonzo King LINES Training Program in 2019. Nika currently practices as a freelance dancer and musician. They began teaching in 2017 and have taught and set choreography at schools across the Bay Area, including San Francisco Dance Space, San Francisco Youth Ballet, and Ms. Marian’s Dance Garden, specializing in ballet, pointe, contemporary, choreographic composition workshops, creative movement, and conditioning. They work with students of all ages, teaching creative movement up to ballet and fitness for teens and adults. They are passionate about providing a spirited, engaging, and safe environment for people to explore movement in a way that benefits them in all areas of life.
