SENSORY FRIENDLY NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCES
The Sensory Friendly Nutcracker Performance is designed to create a welcoming performing arts experience for people with autism, sensory input disorders, sensory sensitivities, or other physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities, and their families, friends, and caretakers. In collaboration with our community partners from Autism Society San Francisco Bay Area, SF Ballet has made special accommodations to the performance and theater-going experience to make neurodiverse audiences feel welcome to experience Nutcracker in a fun, accepting environment.

SENSORY FRIENDLY DANCE-ALONG WORKSHOPS
Sensory Friendly Dance-Alongs provide a dedicated and relaxed environment for groups and families to experience a ballet performance and participate in a guided movement class that is specifically tailored to the sensory and behavioral needs of the individuals. SF Ballet’s Sensory Friendly Dance Workshop was created in partnership with Autism Fun Bay Area for individuals with autism or other disabilities and their families and care teams. Guests can also take photos with ballet dancers and learn more about ballet shoes and tutus at hands-on stations in the activity room.
