This class is for adults who are new to ballet or have taken ballet classes for less than two years. This class will focus on basic ballet technique.

This is a fast-paced class for students who have been regularly taking classes for several years and have developed strong techniques at the barre and center.

SF BALLET X LEGION OF HONOR

January 30–October 11

SF Ballet is pleased to collaborate with the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco in celebration of the Legion of Honor’s 100th anniversary. Join us throughout 2025 for special pre-performance talks, lectures, family dance-along workshops, sensory friendly programs, and a chamber music series.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE BALLET

March 1–August 21

This class is for adults who have completed a minimum of two years of beginner-level drop-in classes or have previous ballet experience. Students should have a clear understanding of ballet terminology and basic combinations.

June 9–August 18

This class is intended for students who have studied ballet for a minimum of 10 years and are or have been at a pre-professional level. Students should have an advanced knowledge of ballet terminology and be proficient with center work.

This class is a different approach to Ballet and an opportunity to investigate and put into practice your technical abilities, as well as to discover more about your dancing.

SF BALLET AT NEW YORK CITY CENTER

September 16–September 17

As part of NYCC’s annual Fall for Dance Festival, San Francisco Ballet presents the New York premiere of Akram Khan’s Dust, a one-act ballet that offers a dramatic exploration of the human experience amidst the haunting backdrop of post-World War I.
